WORKSHOPS
Two Smiths offers a series of project-based courses in a variety of metals, ranging in duration from shorter foundational courses to intensive workshops. Students work with raw materials and hand tools to develop specialist metalworking skills and techniques as well the ability to discuss the design of everyday objects.
Courses are sorted by level of experience, as 100 (Beginner), 200 (Intermediate) or 300 (Advanced) level courses.
Blacksmithing
Multi-level blacksmithing courses in fundamental forging techniques, tool making and advanced forging techniques
Forging for Foodies
A series of introductory level workshops that combine forged steel with hammered copper. Design and make your own kitchen utensils, ramekins and barware.
Coppersmithing Workshops
A variety of courses that build on fundamental coppersmithing skills and processes: hollowing and raising, chasing and repousse and 3D sculpture.
Bronze Casting Workshop
Students will learn how to sand cast a small bronze figure.
Hand Stitched
Leather Gloves
Make a pair of hand stitched leather gloves with Irish leather worker Kasper Skinner.
