During this one day course you will learn how to create a 3-dimensional image from a flat sheet of copper.

We will walk you through the steps for transferring an image onto a sheet of copper, softening it with fire, and using various punches to push the material into shape. We will also cover the use of pitch, acid and surface patina.

You will leave with your very own piece of artwork of an image of your choice! This course is introductory level, suitable for those with or without experience working copper.

This is one day course. Class runs from 9am-5pm.

All materials, safety equipment, coffee and tea will be provided. Lunch is available in town / an indoor lunch area with a microwave and fridge is provided on site if you bring your own food. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
