Copper Tree
We designed this tree sculpture for the end of a walking trail at a private residence near Rockwood, ON. The tree has a series of compartments that are accessible via doors and drawers. It was designed with the ida in mind that the child growing up here night collect natural objects along the trail -seed pods, feathers, bird nests etc. and store them in the trunk of the tree.
Identification Plates
One of the compartments contains a series of copper plates with plant bird and mammal identification images etched into them: species of trees grow ing in the area; footprints of fox and coyote.
